Product Introduction
Liquid coalescer - Separation of incompatible liquid media
LC series liquid coalescers are used to separate incompatible water, amine and alkali from gasoline, kerosene, diesel or other liquid hydrocarbon organic continuous phases
Liquid and other inorganic dispersed phase droplets.
Working principle
LC series liquid coalescing unit is equipped with two kinds of filter element specially for dehydration of hydrocarbon media - coalescing filter element and separation filter element. When the medium flows through the liquid coalescing unit, it goes through four processes of filtration, coalescing, settling and separation, so as to remove the water, lye and organic acid salts dissolved in water in the medium.
The liquid medium first flows from the inside out through the coalescence filter element, which has the triple effect of filtration, demulsification and coalescence, and has good hydrophilicity. The high-precision filter layer in the innermost layer of the coalesce filter element can effectively intercept the particle impurities in the medium, especially the interception plays an obvious role in stabilizing the emulsification state
Impurities such as iron oxide and iron sulfide used are conducive to subsequent demulsification and coalescence. The filtered medium then enters the demulsified coalescence layer of the coalescence filter element. The special material in the demulsification coalescence layer demulsifies the medium, and then condensates the tiny free water in the medium, and
Condensation forms large droplets on its surface. Large water droplets settle to the sink by their own gravity, and smaller water droplets will flow with the medium to the separation filter.
The separation filter element is made of special material and has good hydrophobic properties. The medium flows through the separation filter element from the outside to the inside, and the effective hydrophobicity of the separation filter element only allows the continuous phase medium to pass through, and the dispersed phase is completely and effectively intercepted outside the filter element, and then condensed into a large water drop settlement, thereby further separating the water and ensuring the high separation efficiency of the internal structure diagram.
LC series liquid coalerator According to different liquid viscosity, surface tension, pH value and other parameters are different, the material of the coalerator can be glass fiber, polypropylene, polyester, nylon, pleated cellulose or multi-bell material composite.
The separation element materials can be polytetrafluoroethylene coated net, silicone treated fiber material and other hydrophobic synthetic net.
LC series liquid coalescers are divided into VLC vertical liquid coalescers and HLC horizontal liquid coalescers according to their structural forms.
Generally used for aviation kerosene coalesce, has its special manufacturing requirements and industry standards, usually known as the filter separator.
Filter separators for jet coal are divided into:
S-class filter separator (formerly A-class filter separator)- Used for inlet and outlet of jet coal tank area in refinery, combined with pre-filter.
S-LD filter separator (former B filter separator)- used for inlet and outlet of the intermediate jet coal tank area, together with the pre-filter.
S-LW filter separator (formerly C filter separator)- Used for aircraft refueling filtration.
